2020 Rising Star Awards

Celebrate the accomplishments of the 2020 UAB Young Alumni Rising Star Award winners during a special virtual ceremony on Thursday, September 17, 2020.

Join the NAS as we honor five outstanding young alumni who have been deemed rising stars in their careers and are blazing a path for future generations of young alumni.

This year's Young Alumni Rising Star Award recipients are:

• Dr. William Bates - Collat School of Business ('12) & School of Dentistry ('17)
• Dr. Casey Daniel - School of Public Health ('09/'12)
• Jessica Lopez - College of Arts and Sciences ('15/'16)
• Erika Rucker - College of Arts and Sciences ('09)
